Project Overview

The client wanted to develop a smart AI referee system for table tennis that could track every aspect of the game in real-time. The goal was to automate ball tracking, player movement, scoring, and rally analysis, making it easier to analyze matches and provide accurate officiating. The system needed to detect ball spin, speed, shot type, ball position on the court, bounces, and rally counts, while also generating scoring updates and match highlights for instant feedback.

Our Contribution

🎯 Developed an AI-powered referee system to automatically track players, ball movement, and scoring. 🎯 Implemented ball spin detection to identify topspin, backspin, and sidespin shots. 🎯 Designed a speed tracking module to measure shot intensity and reaction time. 🎯 Built a court positioning system to accurately detect ball placement, court lines, and bounces.
