Legal Basis (GDPR)

For individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, we process personal data based on: (a) your consent where required; (b) performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; (c) legitimate interests in operating and improving our business; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

Section 04

Video & AI Data Processing

SwiftVision AI builds enterprise-grade computer vision systems that process video footage and generate AI inferences. This section explains how we handle such data:

Enterprise Deployments

Video and AI inference data processed as part of enterprise client deployments — including surveillance footage, retail camera feeds, sports session recordings, and healthcare imaging — is processed under the terms of a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the enterprise client. The enterprise client is the data controller; SwiftVision AI acts as a data processor.

Across our seven platform verticals, the following types of data may be processed:

  • Surveillance AI: Video streams for intrusion detection, PPE monitoring, restricted zone alerts, and crowd analytics. No facial recognition is performed without explicit written client authorization.
  • Retail AI: Anonymous heatmap and footfall data. Our retail solutions are designed to be privacy-first; individual identification is not performed by default.
  • Sports AI: Player and ball tracking coordinates, speed, distance, and positional data from sports sessions and matches.
  • Sports & Fitness AI: Pose estimation, joint angle measurements, and rep counting data for individual athletes. When linked to named athletes, this is treated as personal data.
  • Industrial AI: Worker safety monitoring and defect detection data from manufacturing environments.
  • Healthcare AI: Medical imaging data processed for tumor detection and segmentation. This is treated as sensitive health data with the highest level of protection.
  • AI Agents: Conversational inputs, workflow data, and automated report outputs.

All video and AI inference data is processed on infrastructure meeting ISO 27001 standards, using a combination of NVIDIA edge devices and AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.

Section 05

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with the following categories of third parties:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure for hosting, storage, and AI inference workloads
  • Analytics Tools: Website analytics providers to understand usage patterns (data is aggregated and anonymized where possible)
  • Scheduling Tools: Calendly for enterprise demo booking and meeting management
  • Email & CRM Platforms: For managing sales communications and customer relationships
  • Professional Advisors: Legal, accounting, and security consultants under confidentiality obligations
  • Law Enforcement or Regulators: When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety or rights of SwiftVision AI and its clients
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction

All third-party service providers are bound by contractual data protection obligations consistent with applicable privacy laws.

Section 06

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law:

  • Website inquiry data: Retained for up to 3 years from the date of last contact
  • Enterprise client account data: Retained for the duration of the contract plus up to 5 years as required for legal and audit purposes
  • Video and AI inference data: Retention periods are defined in individual DPAs; default is 90 days unless otherwise agreed
  • Marketing communication data: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
  • Analytics and usage logs: Aggregated data retained for up to 2 years; raw logs deleted after 90 days

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with industry best practices.

Section 07

Data Security

SwiftVision AI implements enterprise-grade security measures to protect your information:

  • TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest on AWS and Azure infrastructure
  • ISO 27001-aligned security management practices
  • Role-based access controls (RBAC) limiting data access to authorized personnel
  • Regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing
  • Incident response procedures with breach notification protocols
  • NVIDIA TensorRT edge inference for on-device processing that minimizes data transmission

Security Incident Notification

In the event of a security breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and applicable regulators within the timeframes required by law (e.g., 72 hours under GDPR). Enterprise clients will be notified according to the terms of their DPA.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
