AI Fitness App Development
with pose estimation.

SwiftVision AI builds pose estimation software for fitness apps, coaches, physiotherapists and sports academies. It counts reps, flags form errors and measures joint angles from a standard camera, with no wearables.

Pose Estimation Features
for fitness and training.

Pose estimation tracks body joints in every video frame. SwiftVision AI builds on that to give fitness apps, coaches and physiotherapists rep counting, form correction and progress tracking.

Automatic rep counting for squats, push-ups and pull-ups
Rehab exercise monitoring with target-range alerts
Per-athlete dashboards with session history and progress trends
Skeleton overlay on live camera and recorded video
Real-time posture and form correction with joint angle measurement
Automatic video clips of individual reps for coach review
Form score and a timestamped correction log
Works on phone or standard camera footage, no wearables required

Movement Analysis Dashboard
for coaches and clinics.

Coaches and physiotherapists can review a whole session in one place: a movement timeline with flagged reps, joint angle charts, a form correction log, and a clip library sorted by drill type and rep quality.

How pose estimation works,
in four simple steps.

From a phone or standard camera to rep counts and form feedback, with nothing for the athlete to wear.

1
Smartphone on a small tripod filming a man about to squat in a fitness studio, with no wearables or sensors

Point a phone or camera at the athlete

Use a phone or a standard camera. No wearables, no sensors and no special hardware to install.

2
AI pose estimation skeleton overlay on a man at the bottom of a squat, with dots on shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles

AI finds the body joints

Pose estimation locates key joints such as shoulders, elbows, hips and knees in every frame and links them into a skeleton.

3
Push-up with a skeleton overlay, an elbow joint angle marker and an on-screen rep counter

Reps and form are measured

The software counts each rep and measures joint angles in real time, and flags movement that drifts from the target form.

4
Coach and athlete reviewing a form score, joint angle chart and rep clips on a tablet dashboard

Review progress and improve

Coaches, clinicians and users see form scores, rep clips and session history in a dashboard or app.

Fitness AI Use Cases
for clinics, gyms and academies.

Measure how people move with a standard camera, without wearables or manual video review.

Physiotherapy and Rehab Clinics

Measure joint angles and range of motion from video and flag movement that deviates from the target form, so progress is tracked in numbers rather than by eye.

Strength and Conditioning

Count reps, score rep quality and track progress across every athlete on the floor, from a standard camera.

Sports Academies

Clip drill reps automatically and flag technique issues, so coaches review the key moments instead of scrubbing through full videos.

Fitness AI case studies
with results you can measure.

3h+ saved per session

Physiotherapy clinic saved 3+ hours per session

Problem • Posture was assessed by eye, so results varied from one session to the next.

Result • Every patient now gets an objective, auditable movement report built from joint angle measurements.

90% less review time

Sports academy cut drill review time by 90%

Problem • Coaches spent hours scrubbing through footage for each athlete.

Result • Every drill now comes back with auto-clipped reps and form scores, so coaches only review the flagged moments.

41% fewer flagged injuries

Strength and conditioning team cut flagged injuries by 41%

Problem • Form breakdown late in a set went unnoticed.

Result • Live form alerts now flag deviations while the set is still in progress.

AI fitness app development,
your questions answered.

The questions fitness app teams, coaches and clinics ask most.

What is AI fitness app development?

It means building fitness apps that use computer vision to understand how a person moves. SwiftVision AI adds pose estimation to your app or platform so it can count reps, check form and track progress from a phone or standard camera, with no wearables.

How does pose estimation count reps and check form?

Pose estimation finds key body joints, such as shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, in every video frame. Then the software follows how those joints move to count each rep, and it measures joint angles to flag when form drifts from the target.

Which exercises can the AI track?

Our demo tracker recognises squats, push-ups, pull-ups, lunges, burpees, planks, side planks, unilateral glute bridges and stand-sits. New exercises, drills and sport-specific movements can also be added for your use case.

Do users need wearables or special cameras?

No. It works from a phone or standard camera, so nothing has to be worn or attached to the body. Joint positions come from the video alone.

Does it work on web, iPhone and Android?

Our demos include a web-based tracker and the GymGenz Workout Companion app on iPhone. Other platforms, including Android, can also be scoped with our team.

Can it be used for physiotherapy and rehab?

Yes. The same joint angle and range of motion measurements can be used to monitor rehab exercises, and the system can alert when movement leaves the target range. It gives clinicians objective numbers to review, but it does not replace clinical judgement.

How much does it cost to build an AI fitness app?

The cost depends on how many exercises you need, which platforms you target (web, iOS, Android) and how much reporting you want, such as coach dashboards or clinic reports. If you want a number for your project, book a demo and we will talk through scope and pricing.

Can you add this to my existing fitness app?

Yes. SwiftVision AI builds custom computer vision software, so rep counting, pose tracking and form feedback can be added to an existing fitness app or built into a new product. When you are ready, book a demo to walk through your setup.
